All work comes with our 12 month guarantee; so whatever we fix, stay’s fixed.

Urgent repairs made easy with JustFix: the fastest, most trusted solution to home maintenance needs.

Qualified gas engineer

If your boiler is due for a check or your gas fire needs replacing, the JustFix platform can connect you with one of our qualified gas appliance servicers in seconds.

Mandatory gas appliance checks

All permanent and portable gas appliances and flues in the property require an annual gas safety check by law.

If you're renting a property, something to be aware of is that if a tenant has their own gas appliance in a rental property that is not provided by their landlord, they are responsible for parts of the associated installation and pipework, but not the appliance itself.

Vetted professionals

We’re proud to say all our pre-vetted tradespeople have been verified to ensure they have the relevant credentials, giving all our clients complete peace of mind.

As with all our Fixers, all work is guaranteed for 12 months.

What does a GAS SAFE engineer do?

Any gas appliance installed at a business premise or house will need annual maintenance and checks. These are two of the most common reasons why our heating engineers are called out, but they can also help with:

  • Boiler inspection and installation
  • Gas appliance installation
  • Checking ventilation for gas heaters
  • Carrying out annual gas fireplace checks
  • Checking gas water heater valves

How much does an emergency call-out cost?

We charge £110/ Hour + VAT.

An emergency call out is the price of the first hour. If it can be fixed within the first hour, there's no additional cost.

Will they have their own tools?

Absolutely.  Gas appliance services are a specialist area, and each tradesperson will bring along all equipment needed for each job.

Depending on what it is you're asking them to do, you may need to discuss particular requirements, such as replacement components, at the time of booking.

What areas do you cover?

The Just Fix platform connects you to hyper-local, trusted Fixers live and on-demand. We now cover the whole of England and will be expanding across the rest of the UK and beyond.

What hours do they work?

Gas appliances services are generally available during office hours, but many offer emergency call-out services covering weekends, Bank holidays and out-of-hours.

Do you guarantee the work?

All work is guaranteed for 12 months.

Can I book on a regular basis?

Of course! Whether it’s scheduled, annual maintenance and repair work, or you just have a lot of gas appliances to service, you can arrange the details with your chosen fixer.

Do you charge for materials?

It depends. Every handyperson will bring a range of materials or equipment to each job, and if a small amount is used, you won’t be charged.

However, customers should be aware that costs for replacement parts, using full cans of paint or tubes of silicone will be added to the final bill, as the handyperson will source them before the work is done.
